I've spoken to various people on the Outer Banks about contributing stories to the project, either through interviews or their own writing. As the content arrives and gets edited, I will post them in the "Legends" section. But since I began putting this site together I've been thinking that some of you out there may have stories or vignettes of your own that you'd like to contribute. If you, dear reader, are one of those people, then please email me, either with a summary of your story, or if you prefer, the whole shebang. If your story sounds interesting and appropriate, we can talk further. If you submit a full story, I may edit for length and appropriate language. But I welcome your stories, O ye salty dogs, so send them in!
There will obviously be limited space in the printed book for stories, as the book is primarily a photographic work. But if something comes in that really screams "put me in, coach!", I'll gladly include it. Otherwise, this site will stay active as an archive of stories, thoughts, poems, rants, whatever you feel like saying, as long as it somehow relates to the themes of the project.
Right, 'nuff said. I'm easy to reach, just call, text, email, Facebook, whatever. Email is best. Gimme whatcha got! I look forward to hearing from you.
